St John of Beverley

The parish of Saint John of Beverley serves a wide rural area comprising the East and West Allen valleys and many scattered communities along the South Tyne and the military road.

Our parish is very inclusive and welcoming. We come together to worship and give thanks for our lives and then live out our daily lives in our various local communities where we also enjoy  strong links with other faiths.

While we really value our own unique identity as a parish, we are quite small and rural. So we benefit greatly from our links with adjacent town parishes, particularly Saint Wilfrid's, Haltwhistle and Saint Mary's, Hexham.
